Help
frwrd.to turns long links into short ones, with a QR code and click numbers for each. It also hosts bio pages that you write in Markdown, and every link on a page becomes a short link with its own numbers. A workspace belongs to a domain, and there are no user accounts.
Four ways in
You can do the same things through each of them:
- Web app at app.frwrd.to: create a workspace (there is no password: you get a key to save), then manage links and pages on the dashboard. The Numbers page shows the clicks of all your links together, with your top links. Settings holds your workspace's details, your page address, UTM defaults and the delete.
- REST API at
https://api.frwrd.to, under/v1. The Bit.ly compatible/v4sits next to it for tools that already speak Bit.ly. - MCP at
https://api.frwrd.to/mcp, for agents such as Claude. - The
frwrdcommand-line tool, for the shell and for scripts.
One key opens all of them
Your workspace key (it starts with fw_) is the only credential. The web
app, the API, MCP and the command-line tool all take it, and it is shown once
when you create the workspace. Keep it in a password manager, and never put
it in a URL or on a page.
